Another wedding we did this past weekend was at the Marriott hotel in Redmond towncenter. First off, the staff here is really friendly and the hotel offers many different banquet rooms to accomodate all party sizes. For this wedding I actually worked with the brides sister, she was a real doll and had so many wonderful ideas... in the end, she decided to keep things simple but elegant. She used our wide satin burgundy sashes and our white chair covers.

A couple weeks ago I wrote about Pikes Place Peanuts... I said, that I thought it would be a great idea to use them as wedding favors instead of the traditional jordan almonds that some brides use. I also said that I REALLY wanted to visit a gourmet popcorn shop in Seattle called kukuruza... This weekend, while waiting to set up another wedding I got to stop by Kukuruza to try out some of their crazy popcorn flavors. The two I tried were the cashew caramel and the chocolate coconut macaroon... BOTH delicious and mouth watering!... I bought a small bag which allowed me to chose only two different flavors, but I will definitely be coming back to try all their other options! Check them out!

If you are looking for some wedding favor ideas in seattle and want to use a local vendor I would definitely try Kukuruza and Pikes place peanuts!

We had a VERY busy month of August. My husband said he thought that it was a lot busier than June or July. We got to go to so many different wedding venues and got to see so many different wedding styles and set up! This past weekend we had a wedding set up at the World Trade Center in Seattle. I must say, it was one of my favorite wedding set up's we had...beautiful view, friendly staff and looks right out into the waterfront. Check it out!

I'm sad I didn't get the cake or florists company name, but they both did an excellent job!
