We finally had a FREE weekend on 9.11.2010... Our anniversary is on September 23rd and since we can't celebrate on the 23rd (due to weddings) we really wanted to take advantage of our free weekend and decided to go to Florida! Marvin, my husband, has been wanting to visit Florida for a long time, but since we have been so busy with the wedding season, we weren't sure when we'd be able to visit... UNTIL NOW!!! Check our our pictures!

My husband and I are such kids at heart. WE LOVE theme parks and Universal's Island of Adventure was a fun one to go to! It's a perfect place for people who enjoy roller coasters and thrill rides!

The Toon Lagoon at Universal was remarkably fun... If you like getting wet... go here!

Of course we had to see the New Harry Potter theme park! They probably had some of the best rides in the entire park..... and if you are a big Harry Potter fan (which my husband is).. you will LOVE IT!

The next two pictures are of the Poisiden area and the Dr. Seuss world. We didn't spend to much time at either section because we were so tired from our LONG flight and walking around the other three areas!

After our first day at Universal we were EXHAUSTED... we caught a red eye the day before and couldn't sleep the entire time on the airplain so running around on no sleep was pretty hard... we decided instead of hitting Disneyworld right away we should try out Discovery Cove. I have ALWAYS wanted to swim with dolphins and I figured this place would let me do just that!

The moment you walk in you get to see beautiful birds like the two below.

The next picture is taken by the sting ray pool. I believe it was feeding time so that's why there are so many people around. If you've ever stood in a pool with a bunch of sting rays... it's quite surreal.

I LOVED the birds in the aviary! Maybe it's because my mom loves bird's so much, but I could not get enough of feeding these birds. As soon as you walk in you're given a cup of food which allows you to feed birds like the one below.

The lazy river was soooo relaxing... just what we needed from the choas of the theme parks. It's simply a river that flowers through the entire park...

Lastly, the Dolphin encounter! They don't allow you to take pictures while you are with the dolphins, but I was able to take this picture while I was waiting for my turn!

Our next stop on our Florida vacation was to Disneyworld! In 2008 Marvin and I had taken a vacation to Disneyland and we really LIKED it....so I was sure that we would LOVE Disneyworld! Boy was I right... It's the most MAGICAL place!

Our first stop was at Animal Kingdom. I LOVE animals and was so excited to be able to visit this theme park for my first time. Check out the pics I took from the "Safari Ride..."

Another great theme park was Hollywood Studios. Although smaller then Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom they have 2 of the best rides!

We made sure our final stop with the Disney theme parks would be the Magic Kingdom... I knew going in that it would be a lot like the one in California, but I still had to see it... The Castle was huge compared to the one at Disneyland but the park seemed about the same. All and all, you always become a kid again as soon as you step food at Disney!

After 3 LONG days of theme parks our last day was spent at Seaworld!

We didn't get to see Shamu, but we did get to watch some of the dolphins swim!

Finally, my favorite part of our vacation! We spent our "anniversary"  dinner at a resturaunt that looks straight into a SHARK pool. while you're eating you get to watch all the beauitful and different kinds of shark swim. It was definitely a high light and a good end to our vacation!
