Last week we had a week filled with meetings. Our last meeting before Thanksgiving was supposed to be yesterday... Unfortunately the weather prevented me from leaving the house... this made me realize that Winter is OFFICIALLY here!... I'm not sure I like this, since we're completely booked until Christmas...Still, it's always pretty to look at. :)

After celebrating my niece’s 1st Birthday as well as my sister in laws baby shower… I got inspired to make inspirational boards for kids Birthday/parties! There are so many fun and creative things you can do and so many themes… here are my top 3.

My husband and I have been craving pasta lately. Specifically baked ziti pasta… I’m not sure when we started craving it, but lately it seems to be all that we ever want... The last 2-3 weeks we’ve been eating out a lot more then we should.  We’ve been able to try new different Italian restaurants and it’s been fantastic! Below are the places we tried and what I thought about them.

Mama Stortinis, Kent, WAMama Stortini’s is a restaurant in the Kent Station in the city of Kent. Honestly it was my favorite Italian restaurant we tried!  The service was great and the staff was very friendly. We came in at 9pm, (yes, 9pm, we don’t usually eat that late, but we had a movie marathon that started from 3pm – 8pm) and sat down right away. We ordered the cheese garlic bread appetizer which for me had too much sauce, but it still was delicious and we ate it all up. We ordered the fettuccini and the baked ziti with meatballs. Both scrumptious, but the baked ziti took the prize! A great place to also hold a wedding rehearsal dinner!

Maggiano's - Bellevue, WAMaggiano’s was a restaurant I’ve wanted to try for a long time and it wasn’t until yesterday that I finally got to try it. It’s a cute little place in the middle of down town Bellevue, the staff here is amazing and the food here was great (we ordered baked ziti and tilapia). For me, I wasn’t as satisfied with everything as I was at Mama Stortini’s BUT I must admit they ARE my second favorite. The one down fall is parking, you have to park in the parking garage underneath, but they do validate!

Spaghetti Factory - Tukwila, WAThe Old Spaghetti Factory, honestly, I have never really been a fan. Growing up, one of my best friends LOVED this place. Her favorite dish (as well as many people’s) was the mizithra and the ice cream. While I didn’t like it as much, my husband wanted to try it. I hesitated but decided to go anyways. When we came in we were seated right away! We ordered the cheese bread and ate EVERYTHING, yes everything it was that yummy. After the cheese bread we were given our complimentary sour dough bread and we ATE that all as well. I must say we love their bread and after eating everything in sight, my opinion started to change about how much I thought I hated The Old Spaghetti Factory. Our entrees came out soon after and they were good. Again, I wasn’t as impressed as I was the other two restaurants, but it WAS a lot better then what I had remembered. I would definitely recommend people to try it at least once :).

Olive Garden - Tukwila, WALastly the Olive Garden… who hasn’t been to the Olive Garden? I’ve always been a fan of this place, even though lots of people either love it or hate it, I’m one of those that LOVE it. I always get the same dish, Fettuccini and I’m always happy with it each time. All in all though, it is a great place to eat and if you haven’t tried it, then GO NOW! Lol
