I love the latest trends of candy, cookie, popcorn etc buffets. I think they are so cute and lots of fun for guests! I was browsing some magazines last week when I saw a catalog directed towards food gifts. They showed so many different ways you could package food as gifts for the holidays. A couple weeks ago I wrote about Pikes Place Peanuts... I said, that I thought it would be a great idea to use them as wedding favors instead of the traditional jordan almonds that some brides use. I also said that I REALLY wanted to visit a gourmet popcorn shop in Seattle called kukuruza... This weekend, while waiting to set up another wedding I got to stop by Kukuruza to try out some of their crazy popcorn flavors. The two I tried were the cashew caramel and the chocolate coconut macaroon... BOTH delicious and mouth watering!... I bought a small bag which allowed me to chose only two different flavors, but I will definitely be coming back to try all their other options! Check them out!

This first picture was taken at the Bellevue Red Lion Hotel . The customer used white chair covers with ivory table linens and ivory napkins. Gretchen of B.A.S.Hful events did an amazing job transforming the room with her simple DIY designs.

This second picture was taken at the Bell Harbor Conference Center in Seattle. This customer used our white chair covers with ivory linens and satin gold sash. 

Lastely, We had another customer use our white chair covers with ivory linens and white napkins. I'm sad I wasn't able to be there for the pictures of their centerpieces, but it was yet again another wedding I simply adored!

Last week we had the chance to walk around the fabulous PIKE PLACE MARKET.

I had a goal going into the market, to find the yummy nuts I got at the BITE OF SEATTLE from PIKE PLACE NUTS. We walked and walked and couldnt find them... FINALLY at the end of the loop, I found these fabulous nuts! Honestly, they are a bit pricey $6.00 for 1/2lb. BUT trust me...they are sooooo worth it. Anyways, this got me thinking about how people could probably use these nuts as cute little wedding favors for their wedding. Instead of using the traditional Jordan candies, these local nuts would be a GREAT TREAT for your guest. TRUST ME. Check them out!
